Welcome to the homepage of the Centre for Coastal and Marine Research (CCMR) at the University of Ulster.
The Centre examines various aspects of coastal environments, from the physical processes to the human impacts on today's coastal and marine environments. As well as local research programmes, investigations are being conducted in many international locations. (brochure PDF)
Established in 2004, the CCMR incorporates a number of research areas including coastal and oceanic processes, coastal management, marine habitat mapping, quaternary environmental change and maritime archaeology. The centre comprises Academic Staff, Research Officers and PhD/Masters students.
