Title: Leatherback turtles, jellyfish and climate change
Leatherback turtles are seasonal visitors to Irish waters travelling thousands of kilometres from their tropical breeding sites to feed on large aggregations of jellyfish in our productive temperate waters. Using a combination of satellite tracking, aerial surveys and remote sensing we are now closer than ever before to understanding the climatic factors, behaviours and prey species that drive these epic migrations.
