Spatial and temporal variability of beaches in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and implications for management.

In this project, PhD student, Shannon Gore is investigating the variability of beaches in the BVI chain and the relationship between beach form and composition on the one hand and setting and dynamics on the other. On the basis of this classification, the temporal evolution of different types of beaches is being assessed and the implications for beach management are being investigated using several case studies.
