
Research activities in the Institute of Nursing Research are organized through four RRGs, each directed by a leader of national and international prominence. Each group focuses on a particular research area or theme, formulates its aims and objectives and undertakes research activities in fulfillment of these.
RRGs provide a forum for researchers to disseminate and share ideas and for a team approach to setting agenda and submitting proposals. The membership of these groups also comprise individuals from a number of other disciplines and professions such as general practice, sociology, psychology, social work, rehabilitation sciences, epidemiology, education, informatics and staff from the service sector.
