Biography

Wendy is Course Director for the Postgraduate Diploma/MSc in Palliative Care and Associate Course Director for Health & Wellbeing. She is a member of the Centre for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and the mental health research group.  A Chartered Psychologist, she was awarded her MSc and PhD from Queens University Belfast where she was employed as a Research fellow before beginning her lecturing career at Ulster in 2005.

Research Interests

Wendy’s research work focuses on Children and Young People, (particularly those looked after in state care), Mental Health and organisational communication. She has a developing research interest in altered states of consciousness such as hypnosis and sleep.
