Welcome to the School of Nursing

The School of Nursing, which is represented on three of the university campuses, is a leading provider of undergraduate and postgraduate nurse education.

We offer high quality courses in consultation with NIPEC and the NMC and in partnership with the NHS and independent sector in Northern Ireland. Some of our staff work jointly between clinical and academic settings, which assists us in our pursuit of providing, research based knowledge and clinical expertise. Our success in developing courses, which can be offered online means that we also reach out to students on a national and international basis through our virtual University Campus, Campusone.

This also allows us to create blended modes of delivering education, which not only meets the requirements of the clinical areas in healthcare but also facilitates flexible working and learning arrangements taking into account increasing demands on students and staff.
