Introduction

Our aim is to be the leading institution in Ireland for the study of Sport and Exercise and to use our knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the local, national and international community. We have over 420 students studying for foundation, undergraduate and taught postgraduate degrees or enrolled on postgraduate research programmes. The Academy currently consists of 24 academic staff supported by technical and administrative staff.
