Particular area of interest is that of fundamentals/physical literacy and the competencies that are required to deliver this within education, community and governing bodies.

All areas involved in coaching and the effective and efficient delivery of sport in Northern Ireland.

Assisting with the development of paper on Physical Literacy for SNI.

Funding :

During my time in Castlereagh and Coaching Northern Ireland application and awarding of grants from numerous awarding bodies such as Sports Council for Northern Ireland, Big Lottery, EU, NOF were obtained.

Eastern Health and Social Services - EPACG group ; funding to assess physical activity in playgrounds in relation to playground markings and training.

PLayboard - development of training course for playworkers to assist with the development of physical literacy/fundamentals - Skills 4 Play.
