STUDENT FEEDBACK


Students will be given feedback on all assessments noting the following guidelines:

Feedback on assignments should relate to the learning outcomes which that assignment was designed to measure. Comments should focus on the strengths of the work as well as its weaknesses and should be specific about what a student might do to maintain or improve the standard of work;
Staff should supplement written feedback with oral feedback to groups where generalities are possible and discuss a student’s work individually where appropriate;
Feedback on sessional examinations may be given on request. Student scrutiny of their examination scripts must be supervised. It must be made clear that the mark for individual questions on a script have been derived from the work of an examiner and verified by internal and, where appropriate, external moderation and may not be challenged.
