During 2009 and into 2010, the University of Ulster is undertaking an evaluation of Unified Sports within Europe/Eurasia.
Unified Sports is a program that combines approximately equal numbers of Special Olympics athletes and athletes (partners) without intellectual disability on football and basketball teams for training and competitions.
